Requirements: 1. Qualified to degree level or above; 2. Qualified Teacher Status; 3. Minimum of two years teaching experience; 4. Detailed knowledge of EYFS Framework; 5. Evidence of active participation in CPD; 6. Detailed understanding of AFL strategies to assess needs and inform planning; 7. Evidence of good classroom management skills.
Job Description: 1. Ensure the effective teaching and management of an EYFS class, group and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenges are maintained and the best usr is made of teaching time; 2. Work with colleagues to constantly share, reflect and improve classroom practice and develop the curriculum with the aim of improving teaching and learning across the school; 3. To assess and track pupil’s achievements and progress in accordance with the school’s agreed EYFS monitoring systems; 4. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed with regards to student safety; 5. Communicate, as appropriate, with parents of students and persons or bodies outside the school concerned with the welfare of individual students, after consultation with appropriate staff; 6. Take responsibility for your own professional development and keep up to date with research and developments in pedagogy.
