Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree or above in relevant area;
2. A minimum of two years teaching experience in relevant subject area (elementary level preferred;
3. Teaching credentials in more than one subject area is preferred;
4. Experience in teaching ESL/EAL students in China or abroad is a plus;
5. Experience in curriculum development is a plus;
6. Native English speaker;
7. Respect for different cultures and values;
8. Love for education and students;
9. Readiness to work in a changing and developing environment;
10. Some proficiency in oral Chinese Mandarin would be an advantage but is not a requirement;
11. A life-long learner.
Job Description: 1. Teach assigned lessons by HOD/Principal;
2. Collaborate with the team to develop school-based curriculum;
3. Initiate and lead various Interdisciplinary Programs and After School Activities;
4. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents;
5. Introduce western pedagogies and other effective approaches to local faculty;
6.Take the role of Interdisciplinary Program Coordinator if desired and qualified.
