Requirements: 1. Native English Speaker;
2. Current and Valid Teacher Certificate of home country to teach physical education;
3. PE Degree plus/including Teaching Degree /PGCE or recognized equivalent;
4. First aid qualification;
5. At least three year’s experience in physical education and sports - teaching and practical;
6. Proven ability to collaborate with teachers regarding student learning;
7. Knowledge of best practice for Teaching and learning. Up to date knowledge of current learning strategies. Professional understanding of the educational needs of children;
8. The ability to adapt to changing work priorities and maintain flexible working hours.
Job Description: 1. Participates in the primary & junior high school physical education curriculum design;
2. Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, and individual, dual or team sports;
3. Works cooperatively with other physical education teachers in planning and implementing a balanced physical education program;
4. Analyzes, demonstrates, and explains basic skills, knowledge and strategies of formal sports, games, rhythms, and fundamentals of body movement;
5. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas;
6. Provides appropriate safety instruction and makes safety checks on equipment and field areas to ensure the overall safety of students;
7. Evaluates each student’s growth in physical skills, knowledge and contribution in team sports;
8. Supervises students in out of classroom activities during the assigned working day.
