Requirements: 1. A Bachelor’s Degree or above in Economics or related area;
2. At least 2 years of Economics teaching experience;
3. Experience of teaching A-Level / AP Economics is preferred;

Job Description: 1. Preparation and delivery of high quality lessons in line with school policies in your allocated subjects–IGCSE, A Level and AP Economics;
2. Advising the Senior Team on the development of innovative courses in the field of Business and Economics. Implementing such courses through a budgeted Annual Development Plan;
3. Assessment and Reporting of student progress to ensure the high attainment of all students;
4. Contribution to the school’s extra-curricular programme. To manage Clubs and Societies appropriate to this academic area for students from Grade 7-12, for example ‘Young Entrepreneurs’;
5. Leadership and Delivery of appropriate Professional Development programmes both within the School and wider across the head company of schools. This will include a Mentor role for teachers following the school’s Cambridge Professional Development Qualification;
6. Leadership and Management of Business and Economics across the High, Middle and Primary schools to ensure that there is a coherent programme for the development of related knowledge and skills;
7. Leadership and Management of Business and Economics to secure the enhanced reputation of the School;
8. Assisting the Leadership team of the school with any other reasonable tasks;
9. Contribution to the school’s University Preparation programme, ensuring that students have the attitude and aptitudes needed for application needed for international university application, including top 25 universities in UK, US and Canada.
