Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree or above in relevant subject area;
2. At least 2 years of relevant experience in schools;
3. Proficiency in English;
4. Be familiar with UCAS and British Education System;
5. Counseling certificates preferred.


Job Description:
Student applications
1. Developing and maintaining a system to ensure student applications to universities (overseas) are correctly timed and tracked including all UCAS/Common App applicants;
2. Collaborating with the Principal/Vice Principal to ensure that students are aware of and meet deadlines;
3. Collaborating with the Principal/Vice Principal to ensure that students are well prepared for the completion of applications and take ownership of the application process;
4. Collaborating with the Principal/Vice Principal to ensure that students are prepared for Oxbridge and Russell Group applications;
5. Collaborating with the Principal/Vice Principal and Subject teachers to ensure that students complete high-quality personal Statements relevant to chosen courses of study;
6. To ensure that all student’s take ownership Personal Statement writing and that these are a true and accurate portrayal of the students learning and progress within school.
7. To ensure that all student’s transcripts and documentation are sent to the applicant’s universities and that these are a true and accurate document of the students’ progress.

References
1. Developing and maintaining a system to ensure student’s timely research of university course, the writing of Personal Statements and delivery of teacher references;
2. Taking responsibility for developing and ensuring the quality of teacher references;
3. Supporting the writing and checking of UCAS Personal Statements/Essays and other references before final submission (checked by University of London IFP programme Heads if required).
Follow up
4. To be available on results release day and thereafter to give support and advice to students as needed;
5. To maintain contact with students who are applying to schools outside the UCAS/Overseas window and maintain support when they have left;
6. Assisting students who do not achieve required grades to secure places;
7. Maintaining records of student destinations and develop a system for keeping track of undergraduate outcomes;
8. Provide the Principal/Vice Principal and SLT with a list of all student offers and conditions for places and produce a document once results are published.

1. To maintain contact with students;
2. Encourage students to return and share their university experiences.
